Exceed Cambodia welcomed a recent visit from Mr. Sunil Pokhrel, WHO consultant in rehabilitation in health systems who recently arrived in Phnom Penh.

Sunil expressed appreciation for the role Exceed has played in the training of the PO workforce in Asia Pacific and beyond. Most recently Exceed Cambodia has been working with ACCESS2 - a programme funded by DFAT Australia - to implement a model of strengthening rehabilitation in healthcare systems and working on sustainable services through rehabilitation institutions.

Sunil declared he was looking forward to working together with Exceed to support the health system strengthening of rehabilitation in Cambodia.

Exceed Research Network at ISPO World Congress

The Exceed Research Network (ERN) was well represented at the 20th World Congress of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics in Stockholm, Sweden, 16-19 June 2025.

Eighteen ERN members attended this important event in the Prosthetic and Orthotic calendar and ERN member Christian Schlierf, chief executive of Germany-based NGO Human Study, received the Sepp Heim award. This prestigious award recognizes individuals or organizations that have made a significant impact on mobility device education and service provision, to improve the lives of persons with disabilities.

ERN played an active role in the Congress and ERN-related contributions included 3 Symposia and 6 free papers, one of which was shortlisted for the Best Paper (Sustainability) Certificate.

Congratulations to all those who flew the flag for ERN in Stockholm.

Exceed Attend 20th I.S.P.O. World Congress

Stockholm was the location of the 20th I.S.P.O. World Congress that included 3,200 professionals from more than 100 countries under the theme “Science in Practice, Practice in Science: Collaboration and innovation towards sustainable rehabilitation.”

Bangkok, Thailand was confirmed as the host city for the 2027 World Congress.

Exceed was represented this year by CEO Carson Harte, Heang Thearith and Thor Phearsa - senior managers from Cambodia.
