Study at the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics (DPO), National Institute of Social Affairs in Cambodia (formerly the Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics)

That’s why you should consider a career in the Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) sector by training at DPO, a pioneering institution with an international reputation. 

DPO recruits students annually for its Prosthetist Orthotist and P&O Technician courses.

The School specialises in the provision of P&O education and training for students from lower and middle income countries and has hosted students from more than 27 countries. The School has an inclusive and supportive approach and welcomes applications from women and people with disabilities.

Opportunities to study on two programmes are available:

§  ISPO Category II / Cambodian Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics– three year, full-time programme – 12-16 places available each year.

§  Certificate for Prosthetic and Orthotic Technicians – one year, full-time course – up to 18 places available each year.

 Both courses are taught in English and scholarship opportunities are available, usually for Cambodian students from a disadvantaged background, although applications are considered on a case by case basis.

 The School also accepts international fee paying students, with fees used to support the running costs of the School and help provide free places for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
